Summary:	This testing and assessment analysis referral was given to me to evaluate the client on her recommendation on whether she should return to school to complete a four-year degree. Ms. Z, a 35-year-old African American mother of two has received mental health services since she was 18 years old due to reported mood swings and an eventual suicide attempt. Although being prescribed antidepressant medications, Mrs. Z’s depressed mood continued. In the past three years, the depression became so heavy that she received electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), which provided temporary relief.
