Summary: | The rapid progression of technology has changed how we live, work, and play (Aggarwal, 2017). One major factor of this progression is silicon technology which has provided many benefits in multiple sectors, including computers, cell phones, automobiles, houses, and education. In addition, modern society has provided an opportunity to increase computing power and connected devices and decrease the size and cost of electronic devices utilizing this technology (Carter, 2018). Due to these variables, how our school systems provide education has changed dramatically. While this change is positive, the school system’s overall productivity may not benefit its fully. In order to provide adequate and relevant education, we must mold our current curriculum to include the integration of immersive technology within our teaching methodologies. |
